Hi all, been away for a while and wondered how this was getting on.

Red, I'm sorry I didn't get the pictures of my saw off to you, things got so damned hectic that I just couldn't find the time to get them up. I will let Jamie know that he is in the final, I'm not too sure if he knows!

We are both in New Barnet doing a work placement for our Gas Engineer Qualifications, so you never know, I may blow one of your homes up in the near future!!!

Good luck with the competition guys, they are some well made saws and I'm dissapointed with myself for not getting my pictures up as it would have won for sure!!

I can get over the beautiful carving on Jon Pickett's entry. I had the chance to have a proper look at it in January and it really is a think of beauty. Absolutely amazing carving and detail...and it works good too!

I agree in many ways Andy......trouble is many of them raise similar emotions.....as I said, I wouldn't turn any of them away from my rucksack. The message to me is....Get out there this weekend and do one for myself.....Well done again boys.... :You_Rock_

Lol, cheers Weaver, I am amazed that I have won, I never win anything.....
I do admit, that when I first started out, it was to complete something that I had never done before, but I started to get into it, and was thinking I could win, esp, after working for 2 whole days on it, but then I saw (pun intended) other entrys and my hope faded, esp after seeing Queeg9000's saw, who I personally thought was the best....Well done to everyone who entered, and a big thanks to British Red, who inspired me to get off my bottom and do something, I really enjoyed making it. I am certainly going to auction the prize and donate the winnings to Magikellys charity (see here
