A friend of mine has asked me to make him a leather case/holder to hold 5 bullets for his hunting rifle.

First problem was what size bullet (I don't have a FAC) and second problem was he lives overseas. He told me the caliber and I found a site with all the spec's on. From this I turned a solid brass copy to use as a patten.

Biggest problem was the 0.62 deg taper on the casing.

know I've just got to sort out the leather work:eek:

Errm -- fantastic work!

When Singteck did mine for me I just gave him a fistful of empty cases to use :)

If it happens again, put a shout out Richard - someone on here will sort you out a few cases (or even reload you some inert ones without powder or primer)

For all of that...man thats a beautiful piece of brass....why not sell it when you have finished?
