This consultation is a waste of time, the Government has already made up its mind and this is window dressing.

They say they are not after real samurai swords only cheap ones, well where do you draw the line at cheap. Maybe importers will just raise all their cheap "samurai swords" to £1000 to get round the ban. What about damaged or WWII mass produced "Army" swords that have little monetary value but are of historical interest.

I would'nt waste my time by taking part as my contribution and no doubt everyone else's will be filed in in the round filing cabinent.
