Welcome one and all,

If your from the south-west don't forget to drop by and say hello to us Cornwall/Devon folk at NaturalBushcraft.

Apart from you Camborne lot, heard rumours of your locals! :surrender:

:nana: Just asked SWMBO, and the rumours are true :lmao:

Is this the 19th/20th you be talking bout?

Hi all
I am living in Aylesbury at the mo. But i am from swindon and i am often in that area! Dont know any other bushcrafters so would be cool to chat to some

Steve

hiya, lurker turned poster called Jon living in west somerset.

often looking for wood camp meets! :)

have fun

seems there are 11 of us from the olde avon and somerset area..... thats got to be more than enought to set up a complimentary (note not rival! :) ) bushcraftery group like that down there in kernowland

im happy to arrange and chair the inaugureal ?sp? pub based meeting

looking at the scattering of locations, ye olde hippy venue of the george and pilgrim at glastonbury seems fitting

would people be interested in this?

agenda could include discussion on suitable woods to go and play... sorry i mean practice (even if this means contributions to the landowner?) as well as frequency of meets and types 9ie all woodland, or varied with wood meets and pub social meets)

i shall start a new thread if thats ok to gather names of those interested

i must add, i have no formal "bushcrafty" knowledge or skills to offer, but am keen and energetic! lol im an experienced trad camper though (ie NO electric hookups, heated swimming pools or kareoke shows)
