the easiest i know of is to take a sheet of birch bark and after tidying it up
fold it into a bowl (i think this is easier if you boil it first but you dont have a container in which to boil it :-D )

What about soaking it in water (river, etc) then heating over the fire repeatedly?

Been having another think about this one.
Once I'd made it back to civilisation, I'd find out which of my 'mates' had organised my stag do and start planning my revenge... :twisted: T:
