1. Texas Hill country when the Bluebonnets and other wildflowers are out. It's my home state and I've yet to see this wonderful display but I will one day :).....

I lived in Austin for three years in the mid 80s while stationed at Bergstrom, AFB. The bluebonnets, and the hill country, are beautiful.

It sounds weird, but personally I am drawn inexplicably to Northern places.
I would love to visit
1/ The pacific North west region of the USA/Canada to catch some blue bass and salmon, paddle a cedar boat, watch some carvers at work, and making knives and adzes
2/ Kamchatka tundra, shoot a moose or a bear, watch some skin boats being built
3/ Scandinavia, some ice fishing, ride a dog sled, find some old billnas axe heads to bring home....
One can but dream....:)

I'll try to follow the rules and limit it to just three; at least only three at a time, as I'll probably post three more later :)

1. The Andes Mountains and the old Incan Empire
2. Alaska
3. Arkansas (the Ozark Mountains and the Quachita Mountains) I've already been to Arkansas, but not to the mountains.

1. Chile - I want to do the tour of the Torres del Paine
2. New Zealand - do some sea kayaking and wandering in the mountains (with a wary eye out for Orcs!)
3. Scotland - I recently completed a walk from Kirk Yetholm to the south coast at Abbotsbury and I'd like to continue it northwards to Cape Wrath.
4. And, if I'm honest, anywhere the opportunity to get out and about arises.

It's a tricky one,

I'd love to go to;
1. Borneo/Sumatra and see Orang-outangs in the wild while I still can.
2. New Zealand, My wife has been and loved it, I'd love to travel around and just chill there for a while.
3. Peru, to see Machu Picchu.

I've been to quite a few places already, I've been very lucky.
Places I've been to that I'd like to go back to and see more of;
1. Canada, I spent time near Edmonton in Alberta, I'd like to go back and have a better look around, maybe drop in on Mors :D
2. Australia, I'd like to see the eastern side, I only spent time in the west around Perth, and there is plenty more to see.
3. South Africa, I'd like to get past Cape Town. Its an abiding regret that I didn't see more of SA while I was there, I had the chance of an indefinite free stay at someone's beach house up the coast from Cape Town, but I couldn't take them up on the offer as I had to fly back for my sisters wedding.

It's interesting how many of us want to go to the same places. My three are:

1: Canada. (I've got a standing invitation to go moose hunting in BC.)
2: Siberia. (To see the Polar Games, especially the Reindeer racing.)
3: Libya. (To visit the wreck of the Lady Be Good.)

Am I the only one who wants to go to a dessert area, though?

Whereever I lay my Hat
So many places to see on this small planet , been to New Zealand (outdoor playground and still not overcrowded)Australia (so many different enviroments to play in ) all over the Middle East (not really my kind of environment to play in).
Would luv to say British Columbia or Siberia But at the moment due to long term illhealth I would luv just to be able to get out to a local nature reserve.But I hope all dreams come to reality.
