BushMoot 2012

  • Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
Any ideas how to keep the baby in for a month after its due date? Pff. Can't believe she decides to bear children the year I convince her to come to the moot!

Right, it's on. Got me a full membership now, the wife's actually excited and the little 'un will only be 16 months old so he has no choice. This'll be our first bush-moot. Can't wait!

We hope to make this our 1st moot
the wife and I with our then 8yr old

just need to be sure he will enjoy it

My eldest was 9 when we went last year. Basically he hooked up with a squad of new mates almost immediately and we only saw him at meal times and bedtime. He can't wait to get back.

Im gonna be thee again this year. Ive been given a pass from swmbo so if anyone from the Leeds Wakefield area wants to car share and split fuel i have a spare seat.

I'll have tickets up for sale in the next few days, there's a number of options because it's so long this year, here's how the costing will break down (see below)

Anyone that wants to jump in now before we get the page up for tickets can work out how much and paypal the money to Shelly via shop@bushcraftuk.com with a note of who's coming , what period etc. You can also move dates round if you need to, just let Shelly know what you want and she'll help where she can.

Erm - I used to make harnesses that stop sheep giving birth too early .....
As to the birthing pool/jacuzzi - easy peasy!
A wall of logs with a large tarp draped to form a liner ... then let the rain fill it!
Get the bubbles by holding someones head under the surface for a few minutes ... job done!
