Sold Original Bushcraft UK Ventile Jacket

I have for sale one of the original Bushcraft UK ventile jackets that were sold through the forum and at Moot. It is a MEDIUM size and has been worn for perhaps 2 dog-walks only so is in absolutely prime condition with no wear, damage or scuffs etc. Hell, it doesn't even smell of woodsmoke and that's odd for us folks eh ?
Price includes postage within the UK.

Asking £150 by either bank transfer or Paypal.

What colour is it? Mine is what was called "earth", a sort of greyish stony/light brown but I cannot remember whether they came in different colours.

The jacket is a dark green colour.

If it was big enough I'd have been wearing it myself long ago !

I bought it in the very first batch I think and If I have worn it a dozen times I would be surprised. Its an absolutely fantastic Jacket but unfortunately I got too large for it and never got around to sorting a larger size. And now they are no longer available...

Its a large (correction - its actually marked M medium) and I am looking for £150 please.SOLD!

As far as I know this jacket has not been worn on TV by Ray Mears, it hasn’t saved Bear Grylls form certain death, it’s not endorsed by any celebrity or indeed issued to any specialist Regiments of the British Army……. actually, perhaps that’s a good thing!

I’ve had this in daily use for about a month and I know that the summer isn’t the ideal time to test or evaluate a shell jacket but as this current summer has been a tad wetter than most (since 1798...

THIS IS MY MEDIUM JACKET FOR REFERENCE OF FEATURES AND STYLE. NOT THE SAME COLOUR.



2” of scooped tail to give coverage when bending down

Voluminous boxy hood with volume control Velcro strap


Malleable wire peak and elastic adjusters

Hood rolls into collar and secured with Velcro in centre.


Two large huge chest pockets. Extent of pocket highlighted.


Velcro adjustable cuffs but at wide open they can be pushed up to only mid forearm. Not enough to go to elbow or roll up. Cuff is good and snug when velcroed down at wrist.




Double thickness over shoulders

That's a super idea, with all this hot weather I'd suggest 48 tracked rather than 24.
