Thanks Shep me too.My mate calls us the chuckle brothers of bushcraft when were in the woods,we never stop laughing.One day al take this lark seriously and get my own tv show.

I have also recently taken a liking to "Flammulina velutipes" and "wayside nibble".

Pretty much all of the bushcraft words are intriguing - I also like 'bed roll' - and 'bimble'
is excellent.

When I was at Woodsmoke recently one of the guys, Dave, was going to chuck away
a tiny spoon he'd made because he considered it "spoondling" and not a real spoon,
but he let me keep it. It's a neat little thing and 'spoondling' could be applied to all
the bits left over after making a spoon as well!

'Galavant' for me. To my mind it conjures a sense of traveling for the sake of the journey rather than the destination, of adventure, escape and freedom.
