GBH was one of my favorite bands, have not had a listen in over 20 years. So I went looking for a vid and holy freak'n crap....

GBH live in Tampa, Fl at a place called the Cuban Club in Ybor City, 1986.

It's been some years but that was quite a night. At 1:17 on this vid, there's a kid diving off the stage, from left to right on the screen. Nice extension and a quarter twist. I do believe that is yours truly. What a trip.

Damn, that was a fun night. We hung out after the show and talked with the band. Could not understand a word they were saying but real nice guys.

Got to see some great shows at that place, must have jumped that fence in the 1st shot at least 20 times. Lots of memories, a little hazy but coming back. That night was the last time I dove off a stage and so ended my Olympic dreams.

My taste in music is a little more diverse these days but I now have to hunt up the old soundtrack to "Repo Man". Never got to see Iggy Pop but I saw alot of those bands on the album, at the Cuban Club.

Fear. More Beer.
