GBH was one of my favorite bands, have not had a listen in over 20 years. So I went looking for a vid and holy freak'n crap....

GBH live in Tampa, Fl at a place called the Cuban Club in Ybor City, 1986.

It's been some years but that was quite a night. At 1:17 on this vid, there's a kid diving off the stage, from left to right on the screen. Nice extension and a quarter twist. I do believe that is yours truly:lmao:. What a trip.

Damn, that was a fun night. We hung out after the show and talked with the band. Could not understand a word they were saying but real nice guys.

i saw G.B.H. last year at rock city in sheffield supporting rancid, absolutely cracking night, rancid were oustanding, G.B.H. were pretty good too but i'd been spoiled by the anti-nowhere league two nights before (first time i'd seen them and they pretty much blew me away), absolutely superb seeing all the mini-moshers removed from the pit by a mass onslaught of middle aged skinheads. happy days

cheers

Good idea:). The temperature here is still below freezing at night and I have yet to hear a cricket this spring. Listening now to the Songs of Insects cd, sounds like summer.

rancid were oustanding

That's not even an oxymoron!

I always thought there was something hot about Shirley Manson, but the band Garbage itself were rubbish. (All the way around the drum kit - boom tish!!!)

I've just discovered Flannagan and Allen so maybe I'm behind the times. :D
