Yes, on it's own it looks purple. Next to purple, it looks closer to blue, but my eyes are saying it's definitely a shade of purple rather than blue.Does indeed look a bit bluer in comparison, on my screen.
Although it should be noted that purple is just about the hardest colour to get "right" i.e. Everyone to agree on. Something to do with the rods and cones, iirc. I used to participate in a "guess the ink" online quiz*, and quickly learned to never have any purples because of just this problem.
*My life has always been a whirlwind of excitement, as you can see.
Feynman describes some simple approaches to locks, music and women in that book. Fascinating!!!
Very surprised that Waterman’s are still stocking it but delighted for you.
A Thermarest Neoloft sleeping mat. Seems like good quality, easy to inflate/deflate, comfortable and quite small/light. I’ll use it in a few weeks time.
We shall see…..Would be interested in your review at some point.

I tried the bum bag out today, I actually really liked it, I don't think it's as conspicuous as I was concerned about, and it was comfortable, I even forgot I had it on getting back in to the car after the walk. Weather was a bit wet.Pair of rollerblades, some 80’s disco on the Walkman and you’ll be looking good.![]()

It seems like it. I bought it IRL - a bricks & mortar shop called Taunton Leisure. They told me that the mat has a 3-year warranty and that they’ve never had any of the few claims for Thermarest rejected. I’ve been using an original self inflating Thermarest for 20+ years, and it’s still good, but now I’m older and fatter I need a bit more comfort.Thermarest are expensive, but they seem to have an amazing warranty service.
