What did you buy today?

A wool swandri jacket with hood.
Sadly they only do a pale pink check in the ladies version. If i wait until Sept, they are doing a blue or deeper pink, neither of which I'm enamoured with.I'm wondering if it's possible to overdye it to a more woodcrafy colour. Green or brown would be fine. Any suggestions of suitable dyes?
I just need rid of the pink..my barbie days are well and truly over!!!

Great illustrations and thorough explanations in the bits I’ve read so far. I think because it’s more specific and less of a broad ‘bushcraft’ book, this’ll be a great reference.

Ah, that's cool. But it is a shirt, rather than my more heavy duty, lined, zip up jacket with a hood.

I have been after a traditional hunter style blade with an antler handle for a while, the blade steel is low par for me, but they all seem to be 420 stainless, this one has a tiny upgrade to 425.
