5 new wicks for my feurhand storm lanterns to add to my spare glass shades. And two more bottles of indoor lamp oil, So now I'm all set for winter blackouts for the rest of my life!!!
Also a pair of waxed canvass gaiters as I detest wellies. I always get lost sock syndrome with wellies, and I think they provide better tick protection to the lower legs.

A hand select Helle Viking for my better half; insane figure in a darker than average handle and
Perfect edge geometry.

Had one of these delivered today. Currently giving it a whirl around the house before I take it out to get drenched with sweat over the weekend.

They've managed to give it a nice 'cotton' softness, though it's 100% polyester. Material and build seems good, seems built to last. Quite impressed so far.

Looks good, I would be interested in seeing how you get on with it

That is my three year old grandson’s “fireman” hat. It’s white so it means he’s in charge!!!! He adopts either the hard hat or my full face shield ( with a yellow brow band like the one he wore in the fire station) the moment he arrives and is very loath to share!

My little Kelly Hobo can get out of hand!

A sheet of “40 count” stainless steel mesh. This is to make a load of mini spirit burners from small lip balm tins.

One of my first camping stoves was a Rechaud alcohol incendiary device. The mesh wasn’t 40 count it was more like four. Oh it worked but us was very dangerous. Your fine mashed one sounds much more civilised.
