Trev, we tend to do that quite a bit now, sometimes though we just want some structure, the other thing is that usually the onus is on me to do it like that

I have a first edition copy of D&D somwhere,the one with three small pamphlets in a white box, im sure it has a couple of other early ones in too, would have to search for them and no idea what they would be worth?

Good to know the 1st ed AD&D is still popular. 2nd ed wasn't too bad, but 3 onwards... damn Gary Gygax must be spinning in his grave to see it turn into basically a computer game on paper. I know there is a lot of people that like the newer stuff, maybe the older stuff was too hard core for them ...

We gave up playing mainly as getting players who didn't look at getting 'loot' being the be all and end all, turned out to be quite hard.
