When viewed from above, the layout of the current buildings and grounds closely approximates the shape of the Millennium Falcon, a spacecraft featured in the Star Wars films. School officials claim that the design was not deliberate.

You're partly right; Spaces for teachers, parents and spectators at sporting events, etc. Not likely for students though; yes a DL is normal at 16 BUT this is a middle school so the oldest student would ony be 14 (15 if they failed a year)
