ok what sort of size do you think? 1m or 1.5 m long x10mm or 20mm bar. any idear of the weight it must / going to surport. a pork joint or the full monty. thinks me better ring you tomorrow
Carl it's only going to be a pork loin or belly roll not a sow lol. I would think 10mm x 1000mm will be more than adequate, I did find an old one from my old bbq which I will bring for you to mock.

I got a leg from a Tripod spare thats 1.1M by 10mm with a ring in one end... would that be of use ?
we can put it between the tripod and the up right
just need something to secure the meat to a plain 10mm bar...

Sounds just the ticket, I'm going to improvise a heat sheila from foil and maybe add corn on the cobs too mmmm

Looks like good fun and eats are to be had. Unfortunately now got a family 30th on Saturday so shan't get Going to the March woods tomorrow for the day if anyone's about they are welcome to meet at mine for 10am
