Hi Guys

Count me in plus my mate Lloyd. I'll arrive Mid afternoon Friday.

As an extra i have 3 days canoing with john fenna over on the Tivy for the following Mon, Tues, Wed.

However as this is a rearranged date (bad weather beat us in dec) my 2 canoeing partners are tied up at work.

If anyone fancies stepping in then let me know - see "canoeing in Pembroke" in Out & About for more details.

Grand child No.1 is due on the 5th February otherwise I would be well in for the canoe trip. My daughter is under strict instructions not to go into labour before the evening of the 3rd, by which time I'll be home ;)

I'll post a mobile number over the weekend for you guys who have not been there before, so the site owner is not disturbed (as he requested)

We have a confirmed guest coming along, goes by the name of Robert, his handle is 'Evil', he's a stove collector/camper/hunter working over here for 3 years, and he's from Tombstone Arizona :)

HI Guy's,

myself, Sharon, Jed, Jack and Alfie will be coming down on Saturday for the day only i'm afraid. Now Sharon is full of arm's and leg's i don't want to force her into a tent for a weekend. We'll still get a day in though, looking forward to it. Dougster, i'll bring them 'goodies' for you!:D

OK lads, I think it only honest to say there is a chance I won't make it. Our daughter is due to give birth @5th, so its possible I could be called home from camp early or indeed if she goes into labour a few days early that I won't be able to get there at all.

So, if all goes to plan I'll be there a day early, but may not be there at all

That said, can I ask you all to make your way to the site quietly and not to disturb Ian

I have a mobile number I use on trips only, this phone will be switched on from the morning of the 31st, the number is

07899 977 500

I know you will all understand that my being home with Lotty is more important than drinking beer with you lot;)

Hi Rik,

Good luck with the grandchild, hope all goes well and you don't get an early call !

Please jot me down for the weekend, aim to arrive about midday Friday if I can take the day off (shouldn't be a problem).

See you all there.

Cheers,
Dave.

Damn and Blast and Humbug to boot.
I was hoping that by now I could post to say I'd be able to make it along to this one. Lots of you good folk that I would have liked to catch up with. However, there is a certain element of society up in these parts who are contriving to make peoples lives a lot more complicated than they ever ought to be. Number one daughter should have finished with her Panto performances by this weekend - and the spin-ball comes in the shape of a producer-type who omitted to apply for a licence to perform; hence the whole issue is delayed until..... you guessed it..... that weekend! It now means that I have to spend the two days ferrying people to and from stage doors and visiting family members to and from the audience, with a bit of babysitting thrown in for extra measure!

You lucky, lucky people!

Have a good one

Tengu - I'm not trying to put you off, but from Swindon, it's about 2.5 hours the way I drive, so 3 for normal people and it costs me £30 in diesel and £5.10 TO GET INTO MY OWN COUNTRY:censored:

It's just north of Swansea, just google glyn-y-mul.

I would offer but I'm going from another direction that day.

Oh and it 8th Feb.

Rik, think positve, I've seen you and your lad in the mornings, your grandchild is gonna wanna stay in the warm. It'll be late.:lmao:

Well after all of you guys have enjoyed yourself this w/end I will be quite glad to organize a w/end in my newly aquired woodland location down here in Pembrokeshire (after the w/end that John has organized of course at Gellie) I will give you more info later this week.
I am going to the proposed site on Thursday for a walk about and to take photos which I will publish in a thread afterwards.
I am also proposing amalgamating the South & West Wales meets as most of us try to attend both anyway! What say Ye?

Have a good one this w/end I can only wish I could make it.

I am thinking of bringing the clan.

The kids are keen, but my wife not so keen on 5 hours in the car in one day.

If they come I'll be heading home too as they won't be up for camping in the snow.

Either way see you Saturday fellas.
