After my experience of the Winter Moot ... I am drinking too much/too long of that which is being passed around the fire!
It is a good thing that I have never ever had a hang over! :)

I used to really get into craft beers and red wine, especially when catching up with friends or sitting around a campfire. But over time, I found I was enjoying the tastes less and just started swapping more of my drinks for water or herbal teas at home. I’ll still have a glass of wine with a good meal now and then, but drinking isn’t really part of my regular routine anymore. For anyone who’s noticed their drinking creeping up or just wants a break, I learned about Abbeycare rehabilitation and how they offer different ways to get support if you feel you need it. They seem to cover lots of options and provide a really supportive environment.

My alcohol intake is extremly minimal. 2-3 low alcohol beer (2.8% by vol) once a month in average.

There are a couple of pubs in our capital that serve real ale during colder seasons. But haven´t been able to go there for a year and a half.
Next month I am going to the capital and if I´m lucky I get me some real ale.

I've been really enjoying the increasing availability of low alcohol beer. I find No Alcohol (or 0.5%) beer usually feels like something is missing, but Low Alcohol (about 2-3%) hits that sweet spot. 2 or 3 pints of that satisfies the desire for a few pints of cold beer, whilst only providing the alcohol only of about 1 to 1.5 pints of 5% beer. No disrupted sleep or sore head the next day.

Due to various health issues over the past couple of years I now only drink plain water or or flavoured with Tesco High Juice apple squash as that's the only non-acholic drink my palate likes now.

I could drink (and enjoy it) lager and cider still but a couple of the meds I'm on are rather explicit in saying do not mix with alcohol :(
