Wanted Robust Pack with Small / Extra Small Back Length.

I'm looking for a pack for my girlfriend to use as a portage pack. The most important attribute would be the back size (she's 4' 11"), but apart from that any robust pack of about 60 litres would be great. Hopefully not too spendy as it's going to spend most of it's life in a canoe rather than being carried.

I have a Swedish army hagloffs I think large canvas rucksack sat somewhere in my loft .
