I can remember the first time I saw Rik Mayall. it wasn't in the Young Ones but as Kevin Turvey the investigative journalist. Can't remember the show it was in but it his feature was the reason I watched it. This particular report had me cough up a lung laughing at his conclusion about aphrodisiacs.

I suppose you had to be a teenager in the late 70's early 80's to appreciate this anarchic humour, It really was ground breaking stuff. It certainly appealed to my sense of humour.
