What is an every day carry really when you get down to it?

Anyone from the age of 18 over here can go into any number of shops to buy whatever alcohol deemed suitable and throw a party for mates. Anywhere from the local corner shop to local pub carry outs to supermarkets to specialist off licences.

One can do exactly that if alcohol % less than 8, stronger ones in monopoly stores. That in Finland.

I suppose that this is a traditional and sensible difference between everyday beer and stronger, feast-day tipple.

EDC is it always carry the same (few) items or adapt it for different circumstances? I have a couple of items I always have with me plus two or three “kits” that I pick up depending on season etc.
