OK, clarity please-

How many surefire attendees please? Can do lots of lamb (as requested by one), less of beef; less of chicken; trout is no problem as long as I can catch them (no guaruntee). Cannot, sorry, will not in the future, bring anything if the pee is taken. Rabbits are doable if I stalk the cats but they wouldn't like that and I like them, best left be unless summer. Anything I bring would be tougher cuts for stewing (sorry, first meet, not bringing the best meat to the first meet and you'd have to be an exceptional buch of folk for me to bring steak anyway, no offence ;)) from the sound of it, a big pot is more welcome anyway so stewing is good, just make sure lots of carrot, onion, garlic and celery etc are there; herbs I can do but any additions welcome.

Well we have got 12 down on the list who have asked me to add them, and another 2 people for a day on saturday. Its really hard to tell how many people will show up as some of them have not spoken in the thread for a while. But look at it this way...im pretty sure everyone whos coming will want seconds when a Lamb stew is brewing :D

I intend getting there late morning/early pm on friday.
I will leave my van (white peugot expert with home made roofbars) on the junction to help folk who have not been before see where they need to turn down to the bridge.
People will need to bring firewood as there is none left on site. Unless you have superior water purification (although the site is on the river the farm house and farm buildings are upstream) you will want to bring drinking water - and there are no toilets either so think about your field hygiene as well

Pretty excited for the meet now,

I think we can tell.

I am pretty flighty, things come up all the time and I may not be able to make it. Best not include me in any firms plans or catering arrangements.

If I'm there I'm there, if I'm not I'm not. I hope to be and catch up with John and Spencer again, and to meet new guys.

Im far from a millionaire John so if these blades are in the hundreds, thats me out im afraid :p
All under £50 :)
All my prices are very affordable - ask my happy customers :D
Also open to good trades - I am always in need of leather for example...
All items - except my leather goods, book and flint and steel sets - are used but in excellent condition :)

I'm based in Chepstow and would be grateful if you guys could bear me in mind when arranging any meets.
My wife works for a brewery and gets ample free beers (that may have a bearing on things).
