I already have an army goretex bivi but I really don't like feeling constricted when I'm sleeping so am looking for something larger. I see that Alpkit sell the Hunka xl, any big fellas here got one or can you suggest any other makes?

Thanks :)

You'll be hard pressed to find a bigger bivi than the current issue one.The older ones were quite narrow but the newer issue has a panel sewn in the front to make a much larger opening.

Thank you both for the answers, Chris that sounds like a good bivi to me and it's lighter than the Alpkit Hunka XL

Have you tried your Rab in winter weather? I sleep out in all seasons usually in a hammock but also on the ground so it needs to be properly waterproof to protect my down sleeping bag, it has a hydrostatic head of 5000 as opposed to the Hunka which is 10,000

Thanks again
