Sleeping bag on a budget

  • Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
Snugpak SF 1 with a base layer. Centre zip takes some getting used to unlike the Artic 90 which seems nornal immediately. Have to pull each side of the SF 1 over your shoulders a bit like wearing old fashion braces then adjust the top velcro to stop the zip running down. Then you are toast

The zipper sledges of my SF1 and SF2 stay in place, it doesn't matter where I put it.
A central zipper is very nice because you don't get with a bit open sleeping bag a cold shoulder independent from the side you sleep on.
