Realy simple idea.......but what is it ?

Tinkering in the mancave i came up with this as simple but efficient system that can be used with many knives.....but what is it ?



Please excuse the awful picture, it's a bit of 6mm stiff leather with 2 holes drilled in it and 2 small clippy things......

Thread the leather through the belt loop on your sheath put the clips through the holes, add cordage then you can hang your knife over your shoulder. like a manly handbag!

Again, please forgive my photographic skills. I've used an old camera strap .but you could use any spare strap or even paracord to make an under arm baldric carry style setup that can be swapped about and used on any sheath including danglers.

looks like a good way to attach that shef to a webbed military belt as well (the old kind that had holes for wire hook hangers)

Stumbled upon this on a local web shop. It is an attachement for officers sword.
Think I might order it to use as a baldric for my Varusteleka Skrama.
Just have to cut away that middle leather strap.
