Things must be bad if a Swede is coming on here asking where to find a Scandinavian style blade
What dimensions were you looking for, and, if I may ask, why do you need a fuller ("blood" groove)?
Where have you already looked? Its hard to believe that somewhere like Brisa wouldn't have something at least close.
Yep, brisa has some models, but nothing that corresponds to my ideal
I've found some other companies too, but nothing that is exactly right, well, might have to go to the smithy for this one.
I'm thinking 125-140 mm length, around 20 mm width and quite thin. As a suitable partner for my nine inch leuku blade.. Messed up a real nice fish the weekend before last, and somehow came to the conclusion that it can't be me... Must be the blade!
Have you looked at Ragweed Forge? Ragnar seems to have a pretty comprehensive selection, sorted by country of origin and manufacturer. http://www.ragweedforge.com/
It does seem a little odd to buy a Scandinavian knife from an American, but you might find what you're looking for.
