Poor old Bowie knife in need of new clothes.

Ayup all,

Carrying on with my theme of a knackered elbow I am now doing some much needed leather work whilst it heals enough to get back to bow making. This is an old Bowie knife belonging to my neighbour, a cracking fella and could not ask for more as a neighbour and friend. This is his old knife and he mentioned it needed a new sheath a while back but I have only just gotten hold of some leather.
So its 3mm veg tan and dyed brown. I enjoyed doing a little leather work as its been a while. Just two more sheath's and a quiver to make.

Poor old girls rags.

John said it was 70`s ish. William Rogers seems to have made lots of bowie styles around then. Dont think they had a model name as such, atleast I cant find any online. Little before my time.
