I just wondered if anyone could tell me how they found the olive green highlander tempest waterproof jacket, is it durable??

I have tried several Highlander products (not that one though). Without exception they were cheap and not very well made copies of better products.

Oh, in that case... Have you got any recommendations for a budget waterproof jacket that is olive green or another earthy colour, that is tough????

Best bang for your buck is Army surplus goretex. Most likely DPM but so long as you don't wear too much of it you just look like a farmer

I tend to spend most of my time in woods, pushing through vegetation, and some campfire work, though when I usually have a campfire i set up a shelter.

There are surplus goretex from othe countries that are pretty cheap in od.
