there you go, I knew there was nothing to worry about :D I can relate to the email and computer problems :( I am finally living somewhere with a semi-reliable connection now, but I keep having emails not come through to my yahoo account :mad: so that doesn't help

I ordered a kelly kettle from his ebay shop at the weekend and I wondered when it would arrive. It came this morning! So I've still only had the best service from ODC :)

My orders from Andrew have just arrived.

In preparing the axe helve for the oil, I have managed to cut myself on the bit…so the complimentary pack of Fällkniven cut dressings (‘plasters’ in the UK) have turned out to be a timely and welcome gift :)

Just another update.

Andrew called today to say that the swanndri is on the way!

He also asked if I could let people know that he is having his Internet connection sorted out tomorrow (with luck), so will be back and up and running by the end of the week.

and another, i've just received my Kelly kettle from Andrew, ordered from his ebay shop, and in true gentleman form, he's included a spare bag, and some weatherproof matches, for the small delay. Top Bloke all round, nice one Outdoorcode!!

Also still waiting. Andrew said delivery would be today but what with the postal strikes and the flooding, it's bound to take a little longer.

Hi I just thought it only fair to say that my order arrived today- with a few extras thrown in for the delay - nice touch- he even phoned me to make sure every thing was in order. It seems that BT are really giving him the run around at the moment. So everything considered ( including the high regard in which people on here hold him-the best form of recommendation ) I will try ordering some more gear in the future.

I managed to get in contact with him last week just before the Moot. He has been having problems as we all know, this extends to his answering service on his mobile which on holds 10 messages.

I have been waiting for an order for 2 months, but looking at all previous acknowledgments of previous customers I am holding out. He did say that with one batch of orders he was waiting for from abroad had gone missing on route and he was expecting delivery in the next week or so.

I have tried all coms with little joy, but did get him on the contact number as on the site. The only things I can suggest is trying him at different times during the day, at some point you should get hold of him. Hopefully things will be back running soon, but BT are not know for their helpfulness or sense of urgency these days!

Just tried him with no joy. He said that my order would definitely be with me on Monday of this week, so far no delivery :(

I'll try him later. I'm not being off hand but rather than wait two months I would rather just order from a supplier who has their act in order so to speak. Still, I'll give the chap the benefit of the doubt right now, but I admit to being one who hates being fobbed off....stress levels are on the rise again :D
The type of business I am in means that if you promised a service to a customer then you have to deliver, if not I will lose a £20k contract instantly, no second chances. Even if that meant I had to drive 600 miles to deliver a fly killer, simple as that. Now I know I'm not spending £20k :) but, well but we'll see the outcome.

Well I tried the phone eight times today, in the end it went straight to the answer phone :(

Andrew said I will get my order on Monday, tomorrows another day but if I haven't got it by the end of the week then I'm looking at paypal for a full refund, if they don't then it's my CC who will refund.
I jumped the gun last time, so I'd like to give Andrew the benefit of the doubt, but we'll see what happens.

Unfortunately this is still going on.

My query is about an order that was placed on 26/04/2007 and paid for on that date. It turned out that while the item was for sale on the website it was not actually in stock. Fair enough mistakes can be made-and in Andrew's defence we spoke on the phone-I was offered a refund however I was happy enough to wait until June when I was told that item would be in stock. That is what I call leeway on the customer's part.

I sent a further email mid June and was told that supplier had let Andrew down, again fair enough not his fault-give some leeway.

Where I am not prepared to give leeway is when after a number of attempts and using different media my attempts at comms are not returned-in my professional opinon this is unacceptable.

I have given all the chances I am prepared to give, frankly I am disappointed and will be making contact with paypal next week if no contact is made before next Monday.

I have no desire to question anyone's reputation and indeed did not become involved with much of the public criticism in last few weeks however all I ask is the courtesy of a reply to my comms,:banghead:

Don't forget though, I'm pretty sure Andrew doesn't hold the stock himself. I believe this is how he can keep the cost down so he is bound by the suppliers. If they don't come through, he is stuffed.

Just an update.

A week after I was supposed to receive my order I have chucked the towel in. Ten calls yesterday, ten the day before.....that's it for me but wait there is more....

Just tried to claim the cash back from paypal and it looks like Andrews account is frozen :(
