Just given this it's first firing since rebuilding it. It roars.

It's been completely stripped, new seals, new n.r.v, new leather washer, given three coats of primer, three coats of Ford Olympic blue paint and lots of coats of lacquer.Although you can't see it there's a piece of stove rope in the priming cup, I think it speeds up priming. The shiny plate in the bottom is a coke can cut to fit to help protect the tin, easily removed, and four feet.

I think it's an older model. The names embossed in the lid. One final polish and off to ebay.

The paint i used was as close as i could get to the original colour, and i should have said, the lacquer is designed for engines, so it is heat resistant.

Ha... I just listed one of my 111's on eBay. :)

Not as good a condition as yours but they're great stoves and like you said last for years with a bit of tlc
