How about a mini bush moot this coming May time, am out of action till at least April and will give us all time to arrange things.

I was thinking we all bring something along which the others can try out at having a go, I have several Bows which people can play on,

A site is ready any time at Hethel, Rich and Globetrotter have been there, between us we could make ourselves a mini bush craft weekend.

Your thoughts.

regards

D:welcome1:

Hi All
I would be very interested in this mini-moot :) as long as not in the last week of May (24-31).

Cheers

Hi all

It appears a few would be interested to go, when I finish my Radiotherapy I will set a date we can work on, also give us time to decide what skill or interest we can bring along.

We could go for Fri/sat night or just the Saturday see what kind of response nearer to the time as I will remain flexible.

Look into bring some rabbits may be a Muntjac to BBQ that would be interesting.

Sounds good. Bit like Appleby may struggle to sleep over but wouldn't mind coming to visit for the day. Anyone going to the Outdoor show? Got my ticket booked and may get a spare one for my "carer" as I'm registered disabled. Going to the meet up as well after the show

Hi Whittler Kev,
just to re-assure you I don't know in which way you're disabled but the site used to be a USAF base so it has a few easy to follow concrete paths and flat concrete areas, so access to the area we used before should be fairly easy. but there will also be some bumpy ground and a few holes to watch out for.

Just got the dreaded Rheumatoid Arthritis. Joints swell up/double in size with in hours so can't walk our use fingers/wrists without loads of pain. Real ******* if I want to go camping on the GoldWing or Harley. Usually end up going by car as I carry so much gear with me.
Shame, but I still wake up every morning - shame work follows with in an hour though. The holidays are damn good though (16 weeks a year- pity they're all in the school holidays though):lmao::lmao:

I have arthritis that comes and goes in my wrist from falling over onto it a lot when i was younger (roller skaying)
I am presently having to take a day or two off sick as i can't do gardening with a painful wrist, so i imagine legs and fingers being sore being very bad!

Suffolk folk are all welcome,
I re-named part of the group a few years ago now, I got the ball rolling with this group 2003-ish it used to be called the "East Anglian group". after a few years it seemed the meets were getting so far apart that many of the group couldn't get to them, so I started a more local group "Norfolk and Norwich".
look way back in the archives and you'll find it;)

not long after I started the Norfolk and Norwich group, the former East Anglia group disbanded, shame really, but it was sort of going that way, the distance between people was too much.
so to answer the question, you are certainly welcome as is anyone from over the borders!:D
