newbie from Herts

Hi All

I have just started to get into bushcraft through my son who is 6 he loves watching survival programs and wants me to take him out to give it a go. I love the great big out doors myself and cant get enough of it, I do a bit of air rifle shooting and use snares to control rabbits, I also love sea and fly fishing and also mountain biking, so next on the list is to some wild camping and canoeing,
Cant wait to see what I can learn from you guys and then get out and do it.

I'm in Hatfield, Be handy to find out if there is anywhere locally that I can go wild camping. I imagine its tricky to arrange due to permision?
