Some ash cooking spoons for the kitchen, sitting on wood stove oiled and drying. Spork is alder.

Spatulas, all sycamore. Oak spoon is part the pestle part, the mortar, from spalted alder is still drying.

Hppy Brthdy. Really like the variety of handle designs.
I carved a spork. Only one. Tried to eat a meal with it.
Food smeared up to my wrists with both ends dripping!
I don't seem capable of licking enough off one end to use the other.

Evening all, the spork tines were cut with a SAK saw, then cleaned up with the knife.

Here's my first attempt. NO LAUGHING.

Handles is wonky to say the least, but I'll keep going. At least it's recognisable as a spoon. LOL !!!

Nothing to laugh at there, matey; that's a good usable spoon and you'll never make your first one again! Some of my favourites are "wonky" ones I made when starting out, they work well and are unique.

I think I am starting to spot a similar style where we are all trying to get the two shades of wood down the centre of the handle. I haven't succeeded yet lol.
