So.... I have been off work for a couple of weeks which has given me time to get my new apache canoe finished! I started on boxing day, nursing a bad hangover and it was cold! but thought hey, what else am I gonna do?
I did intend to do a bit of a stage by stage photo blog but once i got going I kept forgetting to take the photos:togo: so i will post what i did take, and hope it works out
First job was to cut off the excess fibreglass with the angle grinder

Then i had to make a jig for the router in order to make the scuppered gunwhales.

Next job was fixing the gunwhales to the canoe,

Then fitting the decks and carry handles

Its starting to look like a canoe now

Next fitting the centre thwart and the seats

Now a few coats of oil and thats it!! in a nutshell anyway
