Wonderfully finished. Besides the drawstring at the waist,
are there wind-cuffs inside the sleeves?

A thin leather shoulder shooting patch might be nice. A plain, drab gray would suit.
The understorey in our local forest is mostly many shades of gray.
That camo combination would be far better than most of the fabrics that get flogged here.

I am always looking for gigantic front pockets that I can reach into without taking off a glove at -25C.
The flaps are nice where it rains a lot, like you get, and it isn't too cold.
Since snow doesn't drain into pockets, I've cut the flaps off a coat or two.

And once again Twodogs' apparel shows Pete has a breaking strain of a Kit-Kat:

Very nice work, you have a good talent for the sewing.
Brings back memories, we used to wear them mountain jackets in the scouts years ago, it was like a promotion you were considered one of the seniors like those guys at outward bound school. olive green ventile with a bright yellow lining. Never needed to worry about burning holes in them, never wore mine out just outgrew it. Factory that produced it probably went west like every other British industry over the last 40 years
