...those mushrooms have appeared in my garden by the pond the last couple of days. Anybody knows what they are? Strange time of the year for mushrooms...

Can't identify them, but they look past their best for eating, almost woody, if you know what I mean...
HeHe...just a bit of fun. Two of them were turned out of green wood, the tall one is Ash, the short fat one Oak, the smaller on the right is hand carved out of Birch. All were singed slightly with a blow torch, to bring out the grain of the wood. They'll live were they are, hopefully to weather nicely. I put a spike into the bottom of them and planted them in the ground.
