Not a problem Womble. Meets should see you chilled not cold.
My advice would be to err on the side of caution if it's likely to cause ill health. There'll be more to come down to - there's a Meet in March and I'm going to try to get one in before then too :D.

It not funny waking up at 3pm freezing cold and desperate for a pee and the nice airbed your sister left you before she went home is flat to the floor. lol, that was Easter a few years ago in Little Stretton in Shropshire. Learnt my mistake then right enough.

This time i have thermals and got some thinsulate trousers to wear. You'll spot me looking like the Michelin man walking round camp. :D :D

Based on past Midland Meets, a fair few members seem to keep warm by spending several hours wandering around the campsite trying to find their hammocks after the fifth pass-around of the blueberry vodka. ;)

Falling into ditches and crawling back out can really work up a sweat. :D

Pics of the rather stunning knife that Bernie's donated for the raffle - it won't be the only item raffled either :D .
All proceeds from the raffle will go to Help for Heroes - please remember the law; you must be 18 or over to buy raffle tickets (splitting a raffle's a right pain so I'm not going to do it this time).

Don't sleep on sharp objects on a air bed:D

I'm not sure if I'm coming or not yet. I have a big problem with getting cold :(

Try running on the spot prior to getting in your bag to get your body temp up....

Im sure it does work up a sweat :D I will be mainly ground dwelling near the camp fire at this meet.

I already do. I've been camping and doing bike rallies for the past 18 years, and I just know that in winter, no matter what I do, within 15 minutes of getting into my sleeping bag, I am so cold that I cannot sleep. I get cramp in my feet and calves, and get thoroughly fed up. On one trip, when I was in the car, I had my airbed, 2 blankets under me, my sleeping bag and my duvet and was still cold, even after using the tent heater and wearing a woolly hat.

I am sure that I am a cold-blooded creature :yikes:
