Curse my eyes how did I miss this, I'd like to come along if too if only for the banter and a bit of hammock kipping. Probably Friday, Saturday & Sunday morning, I just need to check the diary here to confirm dates.

Update:

Due to personal circumstances I won't be able to do a group buy on show tickets - I have no problem if someone would like to come forward and do a group buy on tickets for the show.

Hi Guy's i will be going to the show with work so would love to try and come to the meet if i can. So I'll add myself to the list at the moment but might have to remove myself (depends if work will let me stay in a tent/campsite or insist that i go in a hotel next to the NEC lol)

If I make it to the meet (looking good at the moment) I will bring down some trade goods to save some of you the need to to spend cash getting into the show and yet still go home with new kit!

When ignited the gas didn't go up through the burner and into the diffuser. Instead, it came out here, there and everywhere and turned the jetboil into a ball of ball of flame which melted the plastic guard (including the gas controller on/off bit). The saving grace* was that, although the unit was a fireball for a good minute or so, the cannister remained cold - I've no idea how long it would have remained that way though. Afterwards the cannister seemed to be connected properly - I'm no expert though and it's the one and only occasion that I've seen a jetboil in use.

What sort of stuff are you bringing John ? I'm not going to the Show so i might be interested in purchasing something.

Man alive- - what dont I got...?
Knives, knife kit, pouches, pouch sets, flint and steel kits, big dry bag, small day sack, jackets (xl), maybe a RM hammock and insect net, perhaps a self inflating mat, maybe some hiking boots (size 9) - it all depends on what goes between then and now.
Anyone interested in huge Khyam tents - got a couple of hose going spare
I am always up for trades but at a push will accept portraits of the Queen.....
Kinds of things that get me interested include
Antler, knife making bits and bobs, leather, tanned hides and "interesting bits and bobs"
