i've just been given my own slot on the u.s site aroundthecabin.com. ...i've been priveleged to get to know them all, a great bunch...my first one is this friday at midnight uk time....and every 2 weeks after that....pop in for a chat and a laugh...very nervous, i could do with the support!! i'll be able to answer questions concerning leathercraft and will be having guests on in future that you all know and love from here on bcuk!!! (yes...you know who you are and youre scared too lol!)

hi....thanks tony!.....lol p.....i'm a nervous wreck m8 and what with everything else going on i've not prepped as i wanted....will just have a laugh and be talking about why i started leatherwork and how etc....and be giving tips and advice....am thinking about actually doing some tutorials/wips as well so if anyones got any suggestions of what theyd like to see/learn please let me know....

Tutorials would depend on the level of the Audience. If you are starting at beginner that includes (but is not limited to) Philistines like me who...

know there is cutting involved
there's making holes involved
there's stitching involved

but not much else including...

whether to use raw hide or tanned
what's that stuff painted down the side that makes the raw edge look like the rest of it
why do guys who use rawhide have sheaths that are brown and black? did they paint the side stuff all over? and is that modern or traditional.

Then Level 2 might be done leatherwork but not a sheath and Level 3 might be done a sheath but looking to take it up a level.

lol...was nerve wracking kal...got sore throat too!

a big thankyou to everyone who came along!!! (apart from hillbill who was trying to put me off by sending me messages during the show lol)....i believe it will be archived soon so i'll put the link up to it....
