Lifeventure All-Purpose Soap Vs Ecover Washing-up Liquid

I like to keep a small amount of soap in my rucksack, largely because I need to have clean hands when handling my contact lenses, but also to keep my pots clean. I have up until now been using Lifeventure All-Purpose Soap, but as I was wandering the isles of our local Tesco I found Ecover's biodegradable washing up liquid. Has anyone had experience of the two and which is the sounder ecological choice when backpacking?

We use the Ecover washing up liquid as our main source of soap. I prefer it over any other option. We live off grid and have a grey water pond system.

The Ecover stuff biodegrades quickly.

Similar here, we always use Ecover products as we have a septic tank. As this is what we have, and the fact of it's biodegrability, that's what I use when camping, good stuff considering it hasn't the chemical make up of most household products.
