Very reluctant sale, but I cannot give this vehicle the attention it deserves. This is a 1992 Defender 90 Country, with exmoor plaid trim on the seats, and has the older style benches in the back. The buyer will have to trailer the defender away, and the Maer galvanised chassis is separate from the vehicle, as are the roof, windscreen, doors, seats and pretty much all the interior fittings, although included in the sale, hence the low price. It does have all the bodywork, and the chassis come with a complete bolt kit and gearbox crossmember, although the one on the old chassis was a new galvanised one.. When the engine last ran it was perfect, and has around 160,000 miles on the clock. There is some backlash in the gearbox and transfer box, some seepage of oil, the seat box will require repair and the bulkhead is not pretty, but is solid, and the back door will need to be replaced. in addition to the new chassis, it will have two new SP 4X4 military style doors, the ones with the sliding glass. This would be perfect for a restoration project for someone with the time and money to complete. I am looking for £4000 cash on collection, and I am happy to answer any questions you may have. I will also throw in an engine crane which will need assembly. The vehicle can be collected from near Bristol.
