Folks - For anyone going on the Arctic course in Feb or to anyone having already done a similar course!

Thought it would be a good idea to collect your thoughts on equipment we might need specific to this type of expedition.
Provided we can get a list of items and brands that would be needed (and wanted) by the expedition group then I am happy to trawl several suppliers in order to negotiate more competitive pricing.

Starter:-
Gloves - Type - Brand
Socks - Type - Brand
Jackets.....
(Not boots) they are too personal with regard to sizing.

You get the picture.


If this is not what folks want, no worries, I have already started collecting gear and am the type to haggle over the price of a mars bar

You don't need fancy equipment to get by for a week in Winter Norway. Army issue arctic gear is cheap and works very well!
