I believe a member here enquired about license for use as cooking fuel and we’re told no as there are alternatives.

I have a traction engine, there's a road roller one in my brother's house, and Son1 has a stationary 'factory' one.
They're kind of cool toys :)
Something very satisfying about them.

Have you seen the coffee mug powered Sterling Engines though ? Those are really appealling.

We still have three or four of the old Glow engines (for RC model aircraft) up the loft.

We need a clear out methinks.
Dread to think how many glo and small diesel engines i have in the loft, everything from a teeny Cox .049 to OS 61 i think, I know i have a few OS40's and similar up there.

I have a Mamod Showmans engine that sits in the dining room on display, very occasionally take it out for a run up

Getting quite collectable* now, there is a growing movement of people who are building balsa aircraft again as a reaction to all the Chinese pre-assembled stuff and soulless electric motors. I'm not going to admit to being one of these people though ;)

*which is a shame in a way, as collectable all too often means 'sits on a shelf'. Things that were built to fly should fly!

I know exactly where my Eifflaender diesel engine is! I don’t I can ask for it back after sixty plus years :)

I had a Mamod static steam engine but never did anything with it except watch it chug.
