Not as drastic as the title but I do need the help of some leaders.

Some staff stay over night before while others arrive next day 9:30 am
Sharp. And continue preparations.

9:15 -11:15 FINAL BUSH AND FIELD CRAFT EXERCISES
11:20-12:30 Lunch
12:30 Decamp
2:30 Prize giving
3:30 Leave for Aden park and to be picked up by parents.

But now they’re asking for details on the field craft exercises and bush craft exercises so they can be risked assessed.
What I would realllllllllly like of you lot is some sorts of exercises that can be done and how they’re done in detail I m sure I have seen links to some before on the site.

I have some of my own but others are greatly appreciated,

Thanks a hell of a lot
Ryan

Unfortunately I am not air cadet leader but a Scout leader so I do not know what you are expected to do with the cadets.
I am glad to see you are having a go and you seem to have a good outline plan.

What sort of things are you looking for serious training or some fun in with the training and what experience do they already have.

Can they alraedy light a fire?
Do they know about wild foods?
Can they already build a shelter with natural or man made material?
How much kit will you be giving them to work with?
What age range are they?
Are we talking about survival skills in a combat situation?

I am sorry to be just asking questions back but I looking for start point.

The thing is they come from a mix of sqdrns so i dont know there skills, but i dont many can light with a firesteel,
Wild fods i dubt they know about flora and fungi, but a lot of them go rabbiting.
I doubt they can build a shelter but some can probly use a basha.
The kit depends on what funds we get.
And its not gomnna be in a combat situation.

Sounds like you've got the basis of a plan there already...

Natural and man made shelter building
Fire lighting using various methods
Food prep including hygiene (most important and something that's often forgotten in the field)
Cooking without pots and pans (hot rocks, wrapping, kebab etc)
Emergancy contact procedures and distress signals

There's a start:)

I agree with Buckshot mix it up a little.

Some of the activities you pick may need to be based and what your team can teach them. Find out who can do what for you as starter. Try and meet with the instructors you are using to see what they are happy doing.

Have you been to venue before if not you need to go to see what resources are available and what you have to take.
