A couple of weeks ago I picked up a leather jacket from a charity shop and this weekend I finally got around to making it into various pouches for some bits and pieces:

All very easy to do - just zip 'em up on the sewing machine. For the flat items the pouches are just simple sleeve pouches (actually, that's a very accurate description - one of them WAS made from a sleeve), whilst for bulkier items the pouch is shaped with a round base. Then some leather shoelaces for a drawstring and some bits of wood for a toggle.

The toggles were made from odd bits in the shed.
We had an old set of blinds that had wooden toggles on the end of the pull cords - I cut them in half. I also had an old Mora handle, so lopped off the end of that and that became a toggle. Those kinds of things.
