What different uses are there for haws?

Folks have lots of uses for haws.
Me ? I dry some, and I make syrup from them too. I also make rosehip and apple jelly with them.
I'm also quite partial to just nibbling them when I'm out walking

Me too, just love the fat fleshy ones. Proper taste of Autumn is that.

Depends on how much money you want to spend...Ooops, wrong forum...

they're a great addition to hedgerow special, my own red wine variant, along with hips, elder, brambles, damsons, bullaces etc...

just made some haws, crab apple and brandy jam. its ok but is a bit grainey, this must be from the haws..... tastes good though and looks like normal fruit jam.

im going to try and make flour over the next few days, its going to take ages to do though.....
