One of the places I used to visit back when I was stationed at Bergstrom AFB (1982-1985) Back then it was privately owned and there was a small entrance fee. Now it's either a Texas State Park or a Travis County Park (I believe the latter but I'm not sure) and there's still a small entrance fee. But it's well worth it for a good swim and/or picnic.

I think it was Hamilton where my nephew and some of his mates got tickets for leaping off the edge into the water :lmao:

jumping off rock in to water looses its appeal after you've recovered a few bodies of those that do.

Some rocks yes. But it's not like these are particulary high dives or dangerous water below. It's a deep lake with no dangerous sea tides or currents and the height is less than many swimming pool diving towers.
