I have just made my first walking stick (and maybe second one too by the weekend) with antler handles so if anyone is interested in a simpleton guide, I could bring them along and explain the sequence I went through - based on what a very experienced walking stick maker in our village told me to do

Sorry guys, had some bad news yesterday so i'm afraid i won't be able to make the meet. It wouldn't be fair on the family for me to come at this time.

I'm still going to cook the MM Brekkie for Sat AM - ingredients already bought;

If others still want a group Meal for Sat Evening then we can sort it out whilst we are there.

In the woods if possible.
... let me know if i've missed anyone

The guy with the big cooking pot? :)

Mind you with so many people pulling out we'd probably manage with a mess tin.

Sorry to hear of people having life attacks. Believe me, I know what it's like. Hope you all recover strongly and we see you again soon in fine fettle.

Ged.

What's the earliest we can arrive there, and, do you require a lift this time?

I'd like to come along just for Saturday night with my son - he's really keen to do some camping and it's not too far away to nip down there for the night. Would that be OK? That would make the list:
