Going to use my alot this summer is the plan, cuz coastal enviroments is the easest to aquire food in.

And...Its fun, dangerous, useful(learning to make a waterproof, storm proven construction only having natural made me open my eyes to the genious and hardship of the Greenlanders)

Ooo can`t wait for the spring ):

Mine is very alike a buccaneer type of expedition kayak underneath

http://www.kayaksandpaddles.co.uk/canoe/kayak/uk/shop/productpages/touring/ns-buccaneer.htm

(wanted it stable since our weather changes alot and I wanted to go solo alot for fishing, hiking and mabe hunting), so its slow compared to "toy" kayaks, but when the weather blows up its a dream :super:

Oh..Its only 100-150 hours of work for the average joe.. So its cheap materials, but the teacher/worktime costs.

Its done ):

But needs a bit of Linnen oil and love since I`ve not used it for some years, and got it stashed away.

1 time paddling it in Vesteraalen/Lofoten, I met a Killer-whale diving for prey around 20m in front of me! :yikes:
Never heard about humans gotten eaten by them, but I "popped smoke" and paddled like hell home to my grandma scared ****less :eek:T: and watched X-files... :rolmao:

To whom`s trying to reach me: Having probs with my pop-up blocker
